Initially, he enrolled in Mechanical Engineering but later found his true calling in Finance at SRH Hochschule Berlin. During his university years, Khaled discovered a passion for trading that would shape his future career.
We spoke with Khaled about his early experiences. “I embarked on my trading journey 9 years ago when I moved to Germany. Interestingly, it was in Mechanical Engineering before earning a bachelor’s in finance,” he recalled.
Overcoming Adversity: Khaled’s Path to Success
Transitioning to a new country is never easy, and Khaled faced his fair share of obstacles. From language barriers to cultural adjustments, the challenges were numerous. Yet, Khaled viewed these difficulties as opportunities for growth. His early foray into the trading world was fraught with trials, but he persisted, learning valuable lessons along the way.
“It was not an easy thing to face diverse cultures and different people,” Khaled shared. “I was working and studying back then. In my quest for financial freedom, I started trading; I deposited, traded, and lost funds, and after a couple of months, I completely fell in love with trading even though I was just losing.”
The Genesis of Funding Pips: Redefining an Industry
With a degree in Finance and a growing passion for trading, Khaled Ayesh founded Funding Pips, a proprietary trading company. “I disrupted the modern proprietary trading industry,” Khaled stated. “I have been navigating operational risks with steady feet on the ground while growing a company from start-up to scale-up and seeing it now becoming an organization.”
Achieving Milestones: The Youngest Arab in the Industry
Khaled’s accomplishments did not stop with the establishment of Funding Pips. He quickly rose to prominence as the youngest Arab to make a significant impact in the proprietary trading sector. His success story is an inspiring example of innovation and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Reflecting on his journey, Khaled said, “After a couple of years navigating university majors, I finally switched and obtained a Bachelor of Finance at SRH Hochschule Berlin. I have launched my business after failing many times in different businesses, so it is not a straight-up success and became the youngest Arab to take over the modern proprietary trading industry by storm.”
Navigating a Pandemic: Khaled’s Adaptive Strategies
The COVID-19 pandemic presented unprecedented challenges, but Khaled saw it as an opportunity to adapt and innovate. He used this period to deepen his engagement with the trading community, sharing his insights and encouraging others to develop a holistic approach to trading.
“Trading is about fighting internal battles and making the right decisions, one step at a time,” Khaled noted, emphasizing the multi-faceted nature of trading.
